We now offer 3 post-funeral home clean-out packages, to help grieving families catalog, preserve, and distribute all items left behind.
Catalog
Price: $499 for first 50 items; $399 for each additional set of 50 items. An item is something that could be inherited or sold by itself. Groups of small things (like little office supplies) are considered 1 item.
Services:
- Take an inventory of everything in the home.
- Group items into categories such as Clothing, Electronics, Furniture, etc.
- Photograph every individual item that can be inherited, donated, or sold. List everything in an online portal where family and friends can view and leave comments on the items they would like. We will provide a report to the family decision makers summarizing the claimed items and who wants them.
Preserve
Price: $499 project deposit required. Prices to preserve memories vary based on the the type of media (picture, video, journal, etc.); check out our home page for details. If the $499 deposit doesn’t cover the cost to digitize everything, additional charges will occur.
Services:
- Digitize personal items, including pictures, slides, home videos, journals, and documents.
- Organize digital files based on year and media type.
- Provide a cloud link for all family/friends to view, download, and share the files. Flash drives with everything saved on them can also be ordered.
Distribute
Price: $499 for first 50 items + shipping and garbage fees; $399 for each additional set of 50 items. An item is something that is inherited or sold by itself. Piles of stuff to be donated or thrown away are considered 1 item.
Services:
- Provide a report to family decision makers with lists of where every item will go (new owner, listed for sale, donation, garbage) for final approval.
- Ship all claimed items to new owners, donate remaining usable items to DI/Goodwill, recycle/trash all unusable items.
- List all unclaimed, valuable items for sale. We store the items and facilitate the sales. 80% of sales revenue goes to the family and we take the remaining 20% as commission.
